Jeep Monster

I saw this little guy stuck on the windshield of a jeep at a car show. He totally matched the attitude of the jeep :)

Monster Storage

I liked the monster graphics on these Puff's tissue boxes so much that I am using them to store some of my craft supplies.

I first glued them together by using a hot glue gun so they would not slide around, and by putting some of my heavier supplies, like polymer clay, in the bottom boxes really helps to anchor them down.

Monster Pants

Tips for patching an old pair of jeans.

Graphics on old tee-shirts makes for great knee patches.  From having a T-Rex bursting through a torn pair of jeans, to a simple design cropped to make a statement, there are so many creative possibilities.

I used one of my tee-shirt designs for these jeans that I am customizing.  I found hand sewing with quilting thread works the best, but it takes some patients to pin the shirt into place so it does not pucker while sewing. For a more personalized patch, try drawing on old tee shirts with fabric markers.

DIY Pencil Case

Because it is school time again, I thought I would post a pencil case project.

Just by looking through a household recycle bin, one can fine a lot of items to re-purpose. This container was just long enough to hold pencils, markers, and erasers.

By painting the lid, and drawing on the surface with Sharpies, or by decorating with stickers, one can make a functional, yet unique pencil case that can be stored in a class room desk.
